At Lewiston Fire Company No. 2 you can volunteer your time in 4 ways.  Active Firefighter 18 and older, Minor Member 16-17 years old, Junior firefighter 14-15 years old or Active Member.
Active Firefighters must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a physical.  Active Firefighters are those that are interested in being interior structural firefighters, exterior/support firefighters, and/or EMTs.  An Active Firefighter must be able to respond to station for fire calls, therefore you must live in or very near our primary response district.
Minor Members must be 16-17 years of age and will transition to Active Firefighter upon reaching the age of 18.  Parental permission is required.  Minor Members must be able to respond to the hall for fire calls, therefore you must live in or very near our primary response district.
Active Members must be at least 21 years of age, or physically unable to perform firefighting duties.
